Whitefield still continues to be one of the most sought after places in Bangalore today. The scene was not like what it is today, twenty-five years back. The residential areas were typically Malleshwaram, Basavanagudi, Jayanagar and few other areas.
Whitefield used to be a remote location 26 kilometers from the city at the outskirts of Bangalore with few houses here and there. The neighboring areas of Whitefield were Varthur, Hoodi, Kadugodi, and few other places which got a boost in the residential apartments and homes with the construction and operation of the Outer Ring Road.
